Sanding discs in #600-800 grit

Post by loneagle on May 5th 2012, 9:42 pm

I thought I'd let everyone know, I got a few boxes of these velcro backed discs that fit my Harbor Freight sander. I think these would work well for knocking down the peel and dust nibs, and at $13 for a box of 50, it's a great deal.

I would question the wisdom of using a power sander tho, especially a rotary. It would be REALLY REALLY easy to go through your color coat, especially as thin as they are. I probably would do it if I had several unsanded coats with orange peel tho.
