Rolling at Car Shows... 3 years later

Post by Mercurymarc on September 10th 2012, 1:22 am

More than 3 years after I rolled my Comet with white rustoleum from the local hardware store, the paint still looks respectable... Here are some pics from Fun Ford Sunday in Antioch, California from 9-9-2012.
The "$50 Paint Job" poster I made turned a few heads!

Keep on Rolling!

"You see this guy right here? He put us out of business!" - hehe that's pretty much the comments he probably get. It's actually because of that car and good write up I decided to save myself a lot of money and try rolling/brushing. I did paint parts before but I used spray cans and it's the most bullshit paint/primer I have ever used. 2 weeks later the color has faded and rust is building up.

I'm considering using this method on my 64' Falcon convertible. Was your Rustoleum white just the regular white or was it a blended color?
