Sorry for the bad quality on the pictures of the 2nd coat but was done with the phone and the otterbox on it.
So far so good, at least we think so, now it's time for some wet sanding, have the 600 ready

Starting to look good....as far as wet sanding, I use a spray bottle in one hand, the sanding block in another...

Add a little dishwashing liquid soap, like some Palmolive or Joy or something, to your water.
That will add some lubricative properties to the water, and allow the sandpaper move across the panel with less resistance. You'll still be getting a workout though...

thanks for both tips.
Tried with the sand block but it seemed to hard on the paint, at least for my impression so we used a sponge. Good idea or bad idea.
Will try the detergent and the bottle next time, any preferences regarding the "Patern" straight lines, circles, length of the sanding area and of course, how smooth it supposed to be?
thanks again

Well, I call the sand sponge a sand block, because it's shaped like a block, and everytime I hear sponge, I think birth control... and I'm like....what? What a Face

Clutches are good for innuendos too, but I won't mention them in this thread.

That's looking nice. Are you going to color sand it and buff it out?

thanks!
A lot of hard work, as we all know.
We will love to sand it and buff it out, but still unsure if we are doing something wrong or we don't have the right technique.
There still a lot of imperfections after wet-sanding, at least to the eye but not to the feeling, is this normal?

hope this is going to work.
These are the little imperfections that we mentioned.
Is this something to worry about or they need to be totally gone with the wet-sanding before the next coat?
