Rattle Can Under Roll On

Post by hkestes on May 22nd 2014, 12:54 pm

Did a search but could not find an answer.

I have a 48 Plymouth Coupe that needs paint. With all the rounded surfaces, drip rails, window surrounds and tight spots my question is can I use rusto rattle cans first to get in those spots as a base and then roll over the rattle can paint? If it will work, it would be much quicker and give me a much better build in those tight spots. Here is what I am working on and it looks much better in the photos than in person.

Yes it will most likely work, just make sure you paints are a match on a test panel, different batches may vary somewhat in color.
