nason/dupont industrial paint

Post by 98ls1ttop on January 31st 2008, 1:19 pm

hey guys, im about to paint my 90 gst eclipse and 92 gsx eclipse the same color; white. oriellys here sells the nason enamel paint (industrial). nason is made by dupont. what i was wondering is if you guys think that this paint will settle nicely and also if it would be as good as the rustoleum. its supposed to be just like the rustoleum (for tractors and whatnot, paint right over rust etc.) so i thought that maybe it would even be a better paint being made by dupont. its like 36 bucks a gallon at my discount. yes or no?

All I can say is it might be worth a try $10.00 isn't much and if you don't like it you can always sand it off.

Dupont from what i've heard makes pretty good coatings. I'ver never used it to be honest with you. It might turn out to be pretty good. Nothing wrong with stepping outside of the box and experimenting with something new. Let us know how it turns out
