getting rid of paint runs- how to

Post by 98ls1ttop on January 31st 2008, 4:45 pm

i was watching powerblock on speed channel one day, and they were doing body work on a car. they had kind of purposely made a run on the door just to show how to fix it. what they did was take a razor blade, not a knife or anything just the blade, and scraped the run very lightly from the top of the run to the bottom. it just gradually took off the run. do that down til its smooth, then wetsand it. if you sand on it without fixin the run its likely to mess it up worse. just a little insight to something i seen.
