New to the boards

Post by cloudbreakmd on February 10th 2008, 1:24 am

Hi guys,
I just found this board today. I am going to be painting my 1988 CRX project a la Rustoleum after doing some (okay a lot of) bodywork. Here are some before pics.

Welcome to the board.

A little body work is just a scratch. You got a scrape and rust. Fun!! Smile
What color you going with?

I bought Rustoleum Carnival Red. I also purchased some grinding discs and POR-15 to attack the rust as well as Bondo and a replacement front drivers fender.

To be honest I am very apprehensive about doing the bodywork... But then again, I do not need the rust to get worse and don't want to paint it without making it look clean.

I will start another thread in the projects section next. Believe me when I say that I have many questions both small and large.

Looks like a good starter. As regards being apprehensive - I sometimes think the same, but then think - what the heck - cant look any worse.......

Troll around the forums, you should be able to find some useful information when it comes to your bodywork.
