did you end up clear coating the entire jeep? what does the reflection look like? any tips on painting the silver? i get alot of roller streaks when i tried it.

Yes, clear coat on the whole thing, reflection is OK, nothing spectacular, but pretty decent. As for the silver, it is a PITA, I am going to be doing RED in a few days and am looking forward to it.

I just kept going over and over until the streaks went away.

Weird heat issue with my roll job... the front of the hood must not have been coated all that well, because it looks like the heat from the engine through the hood is causing it to turn a slightly diferent color. Anyone else seen something like this?

Yep; mine started bubbling off the hood above the engine. Of course, this was 4 years after I rolled it, so I'm not too concerned. If it can survive a 78 mile commute each way to work, and last 4 years, I'm happy. Still the best $120 I've ever spent on paint!
