Paint curing and humidity

Post by Rolie on June 4th 2008, 11:18 am

Can any body tell me if the suggestion of spraying the floor with water to trap the dust is a ood idea?
I live in Florida and isn't th water going to evaporate and cloud the paint?
Thanks for anybody who can help me.

This is just an opinion. I don't think it would be a problem if you did it the night before and let it evaporate overnight. The water will settle the dust onto the floor and it will kind of stick there, kind of like the dirt that gets on your car when driving in the rain. it will rub off easy onto your hand but you have to apply pressure to do that. I would think dust on the floor would be the same way. Again, this is just an opinion. There is no science here to back this up. I have sprayed outside and wet the yard down with a hose tho and had no problem with moisture, just the divebomber bugs.
