New member, Samurai!

Post by Mercury on October 18th 2008, 5:35 pm

Hey all. I saw the infamous Dodge Charger thread years ago which made me want to roll my 88 Samurai. I ended up not finding the rustoleum color i wanted in anything other then a can. So I stripped it and sprayed the car wet sanding between coats.

It came out amazing but still had some random hotspots due to spraying with a can.

Anyways I got another Sammy and started painting it Hunter Green with rollers! I'll start a thread in the projects section.

Just thought I'd introduce myself! Smile

From the pictures that looks pretty darn good to me.

Since I'm basically lazy rather than roll I was thinking of spraying my Ranger semi-gloss or satin finish in dark blue and beige (tan). I've seen some pretty nice spray jobs and yours is one.

I have such a soft spot for samurais. I'm going to own one some day. Good luck with your project, let us know how it goes.
