I'm new and amazed by this D.I.Y approach!!

Post by Stearnos14a on April 12th 2009, 10:57 am

Hi i'm a noob from the uk was reading about this paint technique all day, already knowing a little amount about it from my vw crazy buddy. Just stripped my drifto nissan 200sx (240sx in the us) for a paint job with the intention of doing it with 2k, but after reading up today the rolled on approach is much more to my liking!! Hope to gain some invaluable info on here and will post up pics when i'm done. cheers

Welcome from Rochester NY. Post some pictures of your car once you get started on it.

From what I have been reading, Brightside is the way to go. Good gloss, very durable. Im still not sure what I will be using. I can get the Rustoleum Top Side at my local hardware store and it's a lot less then Brightside.
