Interlux question

Post by Stearnos14a on April 13th 2009, 5:54 am

I'm going to be doing my car with a roller and interlux brightside, just a quick question, do i have to use primer on anything that isn't bare metal or filler? I know rusto has a primer element in it and so is a direct application, but i didn't know if brightside was the same?

Thanks
Greg

I'm in the bodywork stage of my repaint and any bare metal is getting primed with etching primer. When I'm ready to paint I'm going to use Interlux Pre-Coat Primer. It's a one part primer for use with Brightside or any other one-part topside enamel. Microspheres provide high build and improved sandability. It fills all the sanding scratches and gets the body all one color so your finish paint covers better. Check out this site ..http://www.jamestowndistributors.com. They have a lot of info including videos about painting with a roller.
