Well you know, summer time is when other things are happening also and this is a time consuming hobby. I myself am trying to get a t-shirt and vinyl business started and that has taken most of my time lately.
Its funny you mentioned window stickers..... I just happen to have a vinyl cutter and if you guys want to design a sticker with up to 3 colors I will see what I can do about cutting it and work up a price for forum members.

I guess we had better run this by Matt first since this is his forum and he would have final say on a design. The rolled on logo for the forum could be done but the font would have to change a bit because it is not cutter friendly. What do you think?

I think the sticker idea is great id be happy to slap one on my Grand Am, even though it wasn't rolled it still was sprayed with rustoleum. Ill try to get some fresh pics up cause i guess u guys are still here lol. But i think im guna go with a less pics approach just cause 5 pics of pretty much the same thing is prolly not to fun to look at haha

That last pix you posted sure looks good. Is that going to be the final color? You have done one heck of a job on the car and you deserve this thumbs up for that. Make sure you post pix when it is all back together.
Re; the decal, has anybody seen Matt lately? He should be involved in the decal design or at the very least have the say on if we can even do it because it is his site.

Now how big are you thinking the decal will be, i was thinking just something reasonably small that i could put on my quarter glass you know. Also to tell you the truth i still have no idea whatsoever on the color yet haha. well i was thinking some things through such as a heavy metallic dark blue, darker goldish orange, candy apple red or even black i always liked black its just that is what everyone does with a monte you know.

Re: 1981 Monte Carlo

I have been working on it and duplicated (almost) the logo at the top of the home page and at this time it is 4in by 10in. I am stuck with regular vinyl because I don't have a solvent printer that can print colors on white vinyl. I was thinking the wording could be in white, the handle of the roller in silver and the roller itself could be the color of the car. The decal can be downsized a bit more still. I am going to PM Matt shortly and run this by him and send him what I have been working on.

our weather has really sucked, cold, rainy. I haven't driven the Falcon for 2 weeks now. I usually drive it right up until the snow flies.

Well, here in Tucson it was 97 today with an expected low of 64. Makes for 9 months of nice car weather. From the middle of June through the middle of September tho it is too darn hot to do anything unless your garage has AC. I decided I would take the heat over the cold and wet.

Hahaha i guess you kina have the same issues with the weather that i do accept you need AC in the garage rather than me needing heat =]

63Falconconvert I am hoping to get this thing on the road in the next few days here to see what its got haha. Still got some odd motor issues iv got to sort out. Figured id street tune the thing, you can only get so far in a driveway
