Rolled on decals

Post by retired plumber on September 29th 2009, 3:56 pm

I am in the process of designing a decal for the forum. It is (almost) the same as the logo on the home page but I had to make it vinyl cutter friendly. Right now it is 4in by 10in but it could be made smaller no problem. I haven't figured out a cost yet but it won't be much. I am thinking white letters, silver roller handle and the roller its self would be the color of the car.
This has to be run by Matt of course before anything else is done but imput from others would be nice also.

Actually the letters will be white and there will not be a background. All you will see are white letters, a silver handle and the roller will be the color of your car. It will probably end up about 2in by 5in, just a bit smaller than a dollar bill. NO bumper sticker here. This is for the window. I HATE bumper stickers. Glad you like it. I should probably change the handle a bit and make it a com so the web site name is there. What do you think Matt? I will send you a pix tomorrow am when I get home from my trip.

I am in a holding mode waiting for Matt to O.K. the pix I sent him. I am changing the handle a bit to make it say com but still look like a handle.
Since this is his forum I feel he has to have the final say if we can even do this. I would be susprised if he said no but still He is the boss here. He is really busy at work and can't spend much time here so we wait. I can have them ready to go a couple of days after he says yes and then all I will need is the color of the car you painted.

I sent him the decal picture in an email last week. I know he reads his mail so if all the interested people would send him an email telling him how much you all want one and tell him about the discussion in the off topic part maybe he will answer and say yes. Remember he is real busy at work tho.

Still waiting for Matt to OK them. I emailed him a couple of times and no answer. He hasen't been here in a while either. My wife just had surgery yesterday and I am her caretaker for a while. After Christmas I am thinking about just going ahead and doing a small run of 25 or so anyway. That seems to be about the number of active people here anyway. I well deside on a price and post more here just after Christmas. I'm thinking in the $10.00 range which will include the roller part in the color (close) of your car and postage.

You would think Matt would show up around here more often since it's his forum but thats fine and I know he is busy. At least it came back up.
I tried to get ahold of him but no answer. So since several have asked, I am offering. If Matt wants I will give him part of the profits to help with the hosting.
