New Guy

Post by mrmri on February 24th 2010, 12:37 am

Hi Guys. I am new to the forum. I have been interested in Rustoleum car painting for awhile. I have an old chevy truck hood I'm going to paint for practice then I have a 1964 Chevy Biscayne 4 door to paint. I live in Washinton state.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I will post pics when I learn how.LOL I wanted a 4 door to make it easier to take my chocolate lab Coco with me. She has trouble getting in the back of a 2 door.

4 Doors Rule!

Post by Mercurymarc on February 25th 2010, 4:56 am

Welcome and good luck!
Remember the golden rule of rolling...
It's much easier to roll on a second coat of thin paint then to sand down paint that is too thick!

4 doors rule!

Welcome mrmri

I think this roll on painting as well as this site might make this year pretty interesting!

I'm going to get some test hoods also and play around and learn the techniques and try to get it as good as some of the members on here has done on there vehicles.

I think I might have to learn how to up-load some pic, might try in aittle bit.
