Im having trouble finding a decent set of wheels for a decent price here in the uk, was tempted to paint them black, and spray the center hubs chrome and maybe the outer rim of the wheel, spray on chrome always looks cheap though, so not sure what to do.

Get some chrome beauty rings for the outside and find some chrome center caps (ebay or wrecking yard) and paint whats left of the wheel, argent. That is a silver like paint and actually does look good that way. Thats what I did with my ranger. I agree about the "chrome paint". They do make a chrome paint that does look like chrome but you really don't want to know what it costs. 3-4 years ago they painted a few B.M.W.s with it for the european car show circut. They were beautiful but it was said the cost of the paint job was "over 10,000 dollars per car", a bit out of our league I think.

For the Chrome paint on the mags .... What about car paint in a can? I am under the impression they are even mixed with clear?
At $10 a can for real car paint - woulden't that be an even better alternative?

Thanks for the reply in advance Smile
