Priming

Post by 5.0_guy on June 10th 2010, 7:30 am

I was about to try priming my mustang by rolling rusto primer on it. What type of rusto do I need? Do I need hardener? Do I need thinner? What type of roller? What about sanding the coats? How many coats? Basically how do I do the job and what do I need to do it with...lol. Thanks for the help.

5.0,
Welcome... take a look at this post under "projects" http://rolledon.forummotion.com/projects-f2/1976-mustang-cobra-t420.htm
this is one of the best posts for info. Someplace around the 4th or 5th page he talks about using Rusto primer with a roller.
Hopes this helps.

I used the Rusto primer just like a regular color coats. The only difference is that I tinted mine with color coat.
