Dutch roller

Post by ivan141 on June 21st 2010, 4:42 pm

Hi to all,

I've been lurking here for a while reading the projects section.. bit quiet but it doesn't matter.
I have started rolling parts of my Toyota Corolla (AE86) in a lovely shade of rustoleum green (RAL6005),
more a matter of finding lots of it at a ridiculously low price than a love for the color, but I like it.

It's my second time rolling a car and I have seen the downsides and pitfalls.. I fear I will be getting lazy and
going with a Wagner electric spraygun someday since it is just so much easier and faster in getting smooth results.
I also live smack in the middle of the city and dont have the luxury of parking the car in the backyard anymore.

Here's my first rolled project, my old volvo shitter track-car:

Good example of getting impatient and rushing things, but the main thing was getting some extra rust protection and looking flash while going slow on track. jocolor

Will start a project thread some day once my cutting compound gets in the mail and I can really bring out the shine in my first testpart for the toyota.
