What way is everybody sanding?

Post by 85S10project on December 19th 2007, 2:27 am

I'm just wondering how people are sanding there cars? I know that when I sand I always try to do it in a criss cross patteren so most of the sanding marks smooth out better.

4.1864635498" diameter circles, alternating clockwise and counterclockwise based on the square root of the angular alignment of mars and jupiter, divided by the radial distance from my home to my work.

Ugh! I went by the alignment of pluto and venus pissed off I guess it's back to the drawing board idea2

I used the criss cross pattern on mine. It reduces ghost lines after the paint dries. Everybody will have a different technique when it comes to these projects. Try out different methods and use whichever feels the most comfortable and has the best results.

criss cross = up and down then side to side. Smile
This takes some of the sanding one direction marks out by crossing them with other sanding marks going the other way.
