BRUNO'S 1981 Kawasaki KZ 650 CSR Motorcycle. 1st Roll ever..

[b] This is my first roll and I thought Id try out something fairly easy and see what type of results I get. I bought this 1981 Kawasaki KZ 650 CSR and I'm planning on lowering it , changing to sportster speedo and light. Also gonna color match the wheels and open up the pipes. Going for a Ratrod / Bobber style. Thought Id start with a little paint. This has been a HUGE learning curve for me. Here is where it started out.

So here is my results of the First Roll

As you can see I got a few runs and a TON of airborne crud.

For this project I mixed 50/50 the rustoleum and ACE 100% mineral Spirits. I sanded down the tank and panels with 800 Grit sandpaper to help adhere paint. The result was a good shine but contaminated finish. I need to do some wetsanding and add another coat at this point. [img][/img]

I'm going to attempt to get a video for you guys to see where I'm at on it.

Looks pretty good so far!
