New From New mexico

Post by ivsito on October 20th 2010, 2:10 pm

Hi, I found this site after searching the rustoleum Paint job. I have sprayed a car the normal way when I was 17. And have done many touch up and bondo jobs for people. My sisters neighbor, was gonna pay 800 to get his car done at macco, so i told him about rolling it. and he said he would do it. So i helped him prep the car, and we used 50/50 mix with mineral spirits. with high gloss rustoleum white. 220/400/600/800/1000. and used wally mart gray primer to cover the black, and is now white! i did the first to coats, and he did the rest. I had pic of the whole project, in my phone, but my phone reset so i only have the finale pics. This was all done out side. It looks same quality as macco. spent 100$ on all the stuff.

Some pics are always better than none. Now the poor car needs the hubcaps done to look right! I usually do that backwards. When I get a car, I buy the hubcaps/wheels first and polish them, then work on the rest of it, HAHA!
