VW nut from Texas

Post by Lawrnk on December 16th 2010, 9:36 am

Greetings from Houston. Like many of you probably, I started following the rolled on process at the original mopar site, and i'm glad to have found a dedicated forum like this. I'm prepping a 71 vw beetle type 1, and from the looks of it here, i might be the first VW guy. Loving the site so far. [justify]

Welcome.....there was a guy that did a VW about a year ago, came out really sweet. Look in the "project" section and you should be able to find it. Post some pics of your VW. What color are you thinking of painting it?

Looks great! What a cool father/son project. My son (5 years old) loves to work out in the garage with me.

Cool project!

A guy on the Moparts board did a bug and posted lots of pics near the end of the third thread. Google "Moparts Part III".
