satin black suzuki baleno

Post by taffy25 on April 16th 2011, 3:58 pm

Hi all just started painting a suzuki baleno satin black with rusto and already having trouble with streakin/ lookin uneven, is it hard to paint a nice flat colour?

I recently painted an astro on this forum gloss black and a renault clio the same colour and they were fine but with the satin it just seems like i cant get it all even and its driving me nuts, any idea what will happen if i buff this like normal?, will it stay satin?

cheers in advance.

I never got round to finishing it and lost all interest, painted my capri instead, you could always see the roller lines in it for some reason (probally because there was more paint there) even though you couldnt feel them, just sorta looked patchy no matter how many coats i added.

Im guessing it would of came out fine with more coats but i couldnt be botherd.
