1987 Bronco II

Post by ShadyOne13 on April 20th 2011, 11:30 pm

Well I just stumbled accross the site as I am prepping my 70 baja for paint. Figured I would share pics of a bronco I just sold. I do not have many before pics but the roof was heavily rusted as well as the hood because of failed clearcoat. Clearcoat was peeling all over. This was painted with a 1:1 mix rustoleum and min spirits. Rather than rolling it on I bought a harbor freight HVLP turbne setup for 60.00 and sprayed it, prep was done in a few days all paint was done in about 3 hours. Taping and all. This is un sanded unbuffed Sold as I shot it.

Not a bad turn around. I like mine cause it's 4wd and super clean. I'm using it as my bugout vehicle. I have tents and other gear in there.

yeah I woulda liked to have been able to keep this one just to have a 4x4 around. But I knew I had to resell it when I got it. It was a one owner with 115k on it.

Nice job on the Bronco II. That is still a good deal for someone at $1700. Especially being a 1 owner and 115K miles ain't bad either. Not easy to find one without having to do a bunch of work on them.
