I also just installed relays for my headlights. I got this rjm kit. The kit is plug and play and headlights are now a lot brighter. I also upgraded to LEDs in the rear. Your making good safety upgrades!

Thanks for the links. I might build my own but, if the parts cost more, I might buy it plug and play. My 69 Mustang had the dim lights also. This is definitely a must do.

I'll have to look into a kit for the Falcon.
Is this the kit that you used? http://rjminjectiontech.com/products/headlight-harness

Toying with this idea to make the lights look more finished. Not welded in so, I can change it if it doesn't look right. If I keep the mesh it will be black.

I like. I think I'd maybe even keep them in their natural metal finish - if not polish them out.

That would look amazing! cheers Just don't paint the car black with red rims. That has been so overdone to the point I despise seeing a black car or truck with red rims! Shows no imagination at all. A Falcon like yours deserves a color to make it stand out!

I agree with Tommy. Looks cool but would keep it natural or polish it. Don't paint it.

I was thinking about it last night. I think you guys are right. I will polish and clear it after to keep the finish.

Started to remove the "FALCON" letters off the back of the car. Decided to weld the holes over. Then, I somehow decided to remove and fill the gas cap/hole. lol

Wasn't planning on any of it. You know how fun it is to fill with that neck Rolling Eyes I'm going to mount a pop open cap on top of the quarter. I want the car to look mostly stock but with small things other Falcon people will notice.

Found it. This made me laugh, "Step Three: realize you have tools that can cut a stock gas cap cup off a junkyard car in two minutes and that it's going to take half a day to make one from scratch:" If I can find a Jag one I might do that. The "Cobra" caps are around $200+ and you still have to make the mount.
