When doing large panels like that were you can get to both sides, if you get warping, just hammer and dolly on your weld dots and it will remove the warp.

Most of the warpage has been hammered out. Some spots are not possible to hammer. Inner bracing is in the way.

61Falcn, nice build and a lot of work. I'm new to the Ford side of the house. I baught a 61 Ford Falcon off ebay a few months ago. I didn't realize that the 63 is usually the most desired. Question, did you get a mig or tig welder? What size or cost if you don't mind me asking? and where did you find the leds?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks. I have a Mig pak 180 welder. I think it was on sale for around $550? Plus bottle etc. The Leds are from a Harbor Freight type store. Princess Auto in Canada. They are bus lights.

A stud welder and slide hammer?
From the point where you now are, there is no shame in using a little bondo. Maybe the Duesenberg guys might work the metal until it's perfectly true, but everybody else just uses bondo.
The shame in bondo is what I did to my Cougar, although it looked good - and for years. And I would always tell people that it was all bondo.

Trust me, there will be Bondo. lol
If I run a straight edge over the join, It 's only about 1mm lower on the low spots. I wanted a stud welder but, I'm trying to keep expenses in check. I'm thinking about adding digital gauges so, I'm pinching pennies. The fenders will need more bondo, way less than the inch + the last guy had in spots.

Well..... I thought the passenger side was not as rusted. Stupid me. lol Today I will be cutting off everything from the trim line down off the car. Cutting from bumper to door. Building new drop off and patching inner fender. This will NEVER end!

From the windshield back, is usually the worst part of the battle. The exhaust is cool. Are you going to have pipes extending out of the holes? They would pass through the trunk, right? Or more specifically, the little well between the outer quarter panel and where the trunk floor falls off.

Thanks guys. Yep, the exhaust will go through the drop off in the trunk. It's hard to tell in the pics but, there are pipes through the body through the drop off. This way the exhaust won't leak into the car. It was a major pain. in this pic you can see it better.

The exahst will go through the holes and extend through
