thanks yall //spent part of the day and most of the night wet sanding beer still only got about 75% done one more day or two is all it should take at this point hope

well pulled a all nighter wet sanding and i think im ready to cut and buff the rest of the car now //cant wait to finish it up but Sleep is calling

got out there and used some ult compound and cut the car today this is just the first pass and no polish here are some pics of how it came out grin

Hey stang are you using the painters tape to cover the edges?

Why don't you get the green 1/4 for that?

With the tape that wide there will be a difference that can be seen in the right light conditions.

Love the color though, you've done a fantastic job!

thankx ill look for some 1/4 /when i did this i was not sure i was done sanding /still not/ just used what was around i have learned the hard way about covering the edges/been moving the tape up and down/still have op there///got to fight the feeling and not rush finishing the yellow// i want to start on the black soon // rock

mad3 had to spend time to fix the lines the tape put on my car //// never use blue tape on yellow///i guess// the first time it did that i was sure i left it on to long in the sun// this time it was only on 4or5 hr// i took my pics then went in and told my brother to pull the tape off for me it was dark and he did not see it then i saw it later ///could this be from the car being hot ???

tape + hot sun = mess
When I use tape for the same application I run the tape on my pant leg to make it less sticky, have never had a problem with it leaving a sticky mess on fresh paint.
