Years ago when I had my 50 merc lead sled (American graffiti) was out I would pull the choke half way closed to make it sound like it had a hot cam (stock flathead) when I cruised the local strip. Got lots of looks and best of all, nobody wanted to race ( thank God) Laughing

Nobady came up and asked you why it was running rich? Very Happy

I guess it's easier than pulling a spark plug wire...

I came, I cruised and then got to heck out.or else just pull in and park and show off. The food at most were crap and you had to wait a long time for it.

Like we use to say "fake it till ya make it"Definitely more satisfying drivin my 'bird compared to the 74 Nova I use to have.It had a 350 in it that was just kinda gutless even though it sounded rude.I actually got beat by some punk kid in a new Town n Country VAN at a light in that thing!Man did my brother gimmie crap about that!Still hopin to run into that chump at a light again. One day.Lol!
