tremclad rattlecan the same as roll on?

Post by mattyo on July 23rd 2011, 8:36 pm

Good evening all. I have been reading about rolling on a paint job, and decided to attack the car. I have an 06 dodge charger RT that was originally silver. Now, being the person I am, I could not just paint it one solid colour so I decided to use three different colours just to give myself extra work Very Happy

I will be using orange, white, and black. One of my questions is.... Is the rattle can tremclad the same as the quarts of paint? I am about half way done the car now and want to put on some stripes and will rattle can it. Will it be the same durability? I will post some pics when I am done. This forum has been a great resource for info! PHEW! It saved me a few times!

Thank you ALL for all the help you provided me!

"Now, being the person I am, I could not just paint it one solid colour so I decided to use three different colours." I love that statement.
I believe tremclad is the Canadian answer to rusto down in the States. If so than rattle cans and bulk paint should be the same. Waiting for the pictures.
