new here.

Post by russosborne on December 28th 2011, 10:26 pm

Hi.

Was glad to find this forum. I have been reading about the roll on paint for several years now, found out about it when someone way back when linked to the original mopar forum $50 paint job topic where the guy with the orange Charger started this whole mess. clown It was still active when I started reading it. Read it and with all the new information that was included about types of paint and techniques I got very confused. Embarassed Hoping that by now it has been done by enough people so that there is a fairly standard method.

Current plan is to do this with my Lemans. Will be quite a while though. Just got the body off the frame and need to get all the rust taken care of. It will have a fiberglass GTO tilt front end and a fiberglass trunk lid, among other changes. I used to own a 70 GTO in the 80's and always wanted it back. Can't afford a real GTO now, but will make this car into what I always wanted the other one to be.

Thanks.
Been reading some, trying to find answers to my questions before asking them. Or reading instead of working like I am supposed to be doing, whichever one sounds better. :-)

Well, I just tried in the project section, but I can't access my imageshack account, at least not from work. Evil or Very Mad

Like your Falcon btw. I used to own a 60, a 68, and a 72 Ranchero, a couple of 69 Mustangs, a Mustang II, a 79 Pinto, and a 69 Torino CJ. Among other cars. Guess you could say I like Fords.
