Yeah, most of those cars were painted boring light metallic colors from the factory, like yours was.

That Orange is a high-impact color, without being obnoxious. It looks "right," on there...

I remember seeing quite a number of orange ones when I lived in Germany. Lots of white ones and tan ones and green ones too. I agree, they look much better in a high impact color.

I know theres been snow on saturday, but its been 8-9 degrees C most of today, so I warmed up the bonnet and put another coat on.. then left it in the sun.. its touch dry now so should be ok..

I find that running the engine for a while first really helps.. not too hot.. but enough to keep the bonet warm for an hour to help dry the paint..

Just pray it doesnt frost at night.. I found that the paint isnt as tough in the cold, and is less resistant to sanding.

Agghhh....... Need it done for a new job offer so busted my balls off for two days.. Hope you like it. still requires buff and polish, but I will do that in a few weeks when my paint fully hardens! Very Happy Boo YAH!



Going to get on with painting my alloys next!! nice and new and shiney!

that is a sweet ride, I wish I hadn't sold my wolfsburg rabbit (white/white/white) cabrio with 14" alloys. USDM. it was fun

I love the orange. It looks 1984 all over again!
