Re: 106 gti track slag

I've had mostly rwd cars

Renault 5 gt turbo ( mental car )

Got this gti and it's blown me away
I'm currently fabricating a turbo manifold for an old t25 turbo from the blue Nissan s13 for the gti

200bhp out of a car that weighs less than Peter norths balls would be amazing

My friend actually has a mustang! It was imported early 90s has a matte black paintjob and I love it

Even if it did smell funny and was scared I would be bitten by an exotic spider

It looks like a ford Sierra to me but has auto gearbox and it's a left hooker (lhd)

I will post pics of the turbo conversion as I do it! Someone over here in uk has a gti running 450 bhp!!

His mustang

His dads mustang is the red one on the left

He's not doing too bad for an 18 year old

Legal age to drive here is 17 and I was paying 2000+ pounds on a 1.4 8v vauxhall Astra!!

One car I've always wanted to own was a monte Carlo like from fast and furious Tokyo drift!

Maybe if me and my partner do move to USA if plans go through I will get one!

This is coming out very nice.

Does anyone know the difference between this paint vs the US version "stops rust" or "professional"?

So many colors to pick from:http://www.rawlinspaints.com/p23/Rust-Oleum-CombiColor-Gloss/product_info.html

So is it difficult finding tires for those TRX wheels on your side of the pond? They can be scarce here, the rims being metric and all. I think BMW sold cars with the metric TRX wheels too. I think Michelin was the sole maker of those tires - at least for a while.
My old '82 Mustang GT and '84 Capri RS 5.0 both had those same rims.

I ran these wheels instead:
You also see these wheels in Europe.

What my Capri looked like:

Maybe he should search for "tyres" instead?

It's hard to find parts of American cars of that vintage over there, but not impossible.

The Oxford English Dictionary suggests that the word derives from "attire",[1] while other sources suggest a connection with the verb "to tie".[2] From the 15th to the 17th centuries the spellings tire and tyre were used without distinction;[1] but by 1700 tyre had become obsolete and tire remained as the settled spelling.[1] In the UK, the spelling tyre was revived in the 19th century for pneumatic tires, though many continued to use tire for the iron variety. The Times newspaper in Britain was still using tire as late as 1905.[3] The 1911 edition of the Encyclopędia Britannica states that "[t]he spelling 'tyre' is not now accepted by the best English authorities, and is unrecognized in the US",[2] while Fowler's Modern English Usage of 1926 says that "there is nothing to be said for 'tyre', which is etymologically wrong, as well as needlessly divergent from our own [sc. British] older & the present American usage".[1] However, over the course of the 20th century tyre became established as the standard British spelling.

Actually, the TRX wheel and tire debacle originated in Europe, I believe. I think it was Michelin's baby.

Some would say "al-you-min-ee-um!" That's like unleashing nucular weapons against our language...

Lancashire? I know the Beatles have heard of that place!
